All about Jenny… by Jenny
BSc(Hons) Architecture, DipArch, ARB
I studied at Queens University Belfast, Canterbury School of Architecture and the Architectural Association. Prior to establishing Carter-Fleming in 2023, I was a founding director of Cuozzo Fleming Architects for nine years. Before this, I worked at several boutique architectural practices and contractors across the UK and Ireland, giving me a rich understanding of construction and project management from the viewpoint of both the architect and the contractor, which is evident in my firm-but-fair working practices, in particular when on site.
I have been a visiting tutor and lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire as well as guest lectured and critiqued at the Bartlett, Central St Martin’s, University of Brighton, London Met and the University for the Creative Arts. All fun experiences, but where I really thrive is designing and making things happen - I love building!
I set-up Carter Fleming in 2023 as an architecture and interiors studio that focuses on delivering a personalised service for homeowners and small developers. I believe in treating every project no matter the size with the utmost care; if it’s important to you (which it is) then it’s important to me.
I am a qualified Architect and qualified CDM Principal Designer, so ultimately, I will deliver for you, as my many professional and domestic clients over the past 15 years will agree.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about 1960’s and 70’s music, television & film. I am (very slowly) renovating my Grade II listed home most weekends with my husband, watched on by our beloved whippet, Twiggy, who monopolises any other time I have that’s not spent working, cooking or doing DIY!
